Goldfish injury beached itself onto a rock

Question
One of my large goldfish in my Koi pond beached itself today during spawning activities.  It was a cool, rainy day today, not sure how long it was out of the water, could have been up to 1/2 hour.  I placed the fish in a separate vessel with water from the pond and a small pump for aereation.  Unfortunately, the fish is still nearly on its side, is breathing and moving its lips, but I fear is too far gone.  Is there any hope?  It's one of my most friendly fish.  Am resigned that the best I can do is to provide a calm, oxygenated environment until it passes.

Thank you for a prompt response.

Answer
I'm glad to hear that you got to it in time.  It sounds like his swim bladder became damaged in his time outside of the water.  I have seen fish live a fair amount of time after sustaining this type of damage, even if it less time than a normal fish would.

It may end up dying but there is a chance of recovery.  You are correct to provide a calm and well-oxygenated pool for it for its passing or recovery.
