Question
Is it ok to put white sand in my gold fish pond?

Thank you

Answer
Hello Dawn!
It is probably okay, but the sand will not stay white. It will turn green/brown/black in a matter of days. That is just a part of the natural workings of a pond.
Personally, I am not even a fan of putting pebbles or rocks in the bottom. They all have to be cleaned out sooner or later (fish poopoo and other decomposing debris gets stuck in them) and that is a lot of hard work. Better to leave the bottom empty so it can be cleaned easier.
