Double Reins

hello,
 i was wondering if you could tell me how to hold double reins with a mullen mouth pelham bit? im really unsure and i need to know as im using a double bridle next week in a show. please reply asap. thankyou.

I was taught to hold the snaffle (milder bit) like a normal, single rein, and add the curb or rougher bit rein between the baby finger and ring finger, or under the pinky.  here is a diagram http://www.angelfire.com/tx2/kidshorses/seat.html
Different people hold the reins different ways.  Do you have an instructer to show you?
