diet

Question
my sister-in-law has two turtles here in moreno valley, ca.(mid-upper desert).
she avoids feeding them certain food, such as
avocados,etc.
are there foods, to avoid, like banana peel,
or bean sprouts?

Without knowing what kinds of turtles these are, this is tough to answer, but prety much anything a person can eat is safe enough for turtles- if it is a part of their natural diet.

Banana peels are even OK for the fiber-loving tortoises- as long as it is not a major part of the diet.
