Question
Hi, I'm looking to get a redfooted tortise baby via a reptile show/sale in septemper i have wanted one for over a year now but was wondering how hard they are to care for and does there poop stink more tehn lizxard poop do they bite also?

Answer
Red-foots take some work. You need to plan for their growth, and they will need some big space pretty quickly, and really big space (8'x8' for adults, ideally, if kept indoors) when they are grown up.

You need a good warm (80-85F), humid (85%+) habitat maintained 24/7 for about 25-50 years and just basically be ready for the reality of needing to be in complete control of its habitat.

Poop- not a big deal.
Bite- not really, unless they think your finger is food- then it pinches.
