clear water drops

there are drops for fish, i think called "clear water" that is suposed to deoderize tank water and help keep it clear. it's made for fish, but would it be ok to use in a red ear slider tank?

There are similar products made for turtles. The turtle's need a more powerful formula to handle their more abundant wastes, and the fish drops cause problems in larger doses.

The turtle drops are not proven to be all that effective. The better solution is to use a very powerful an large water filter, and siphon/vac the bottom of the tank to change about 1/4th of the water every week or so.
