QuestionMy Greek Tortoise climbs up the sides of her cage (likes to be on 2 legs) & even has climbed on top of her log. I wouldn't worry, although she's flipped herself a couple of times & I've had to right her. Is anything wrong?
AnswerThey often climb glass walls, so we try to avoid glass at their eye level to minimize this. We also want to design the habitat to minimize tipping points or at least give it ways to right itself.
Besides tank design, another issue may be habitat size. Tortoises spend more time trying to escape small habitats than they do large ones.
