Question
hi,
i wonder if you can help....i have been given my daughters terrapins to look after by my ex....they are both quite small and 2 years old...one is about 18cm the other slightly smaller.
they are in a 60cm by 30 cm aquarium with a big rock in the middle and the tank is half filled with water.
when i got them there was no heater,i installed one and the temp is 25 deg.
the problem is that they are blind.
they both have a brown film over there eyes and are unable to see.
they eat ok and sit up on the rock e.t.c. but life seems unfun to say the least.
any ideas?
thankyou

Answer
Blind turtles usually do OK for several years with good cares.

A couple of really good care sites to check out would be:

Since I don/t know what species they are, I cannot comment on the quality of the cares, but I do think I would suggest reviewing one of the above sites carefully.
