Tilted head, tilted body

Question
The past few days my baby red eared slider (Not even two inches long yet) has been acting funny. She's been swimming/basking/or when I hold her and she sticks her head out her, all three with her head tilted to the right slightly. Kind of like a dog does when it's curious about something? It seems to kind of affect her swimming, I believe. She tends to float a certain way. Her cage environment is fine, I think. Temps between 70 and 80. Basking dock, a regular dock just so she can get out of the water, plants, filteration. I change the water, the filter keeps it clean, I also scoop any debris with a net. There are a few plants. Some live, some fake. She also lives with another turtle, he's about 6 inches long. No problems there except when he swims up to her once in a while he'll get curious and kind of snap at her, but I'm almost positive he hasn't actually bitten her. Help please. I'm concerned about her. I've been reading about something and it sounds like it could possibly be pneumonia?? Thanks for your time :]

Answer
Hi Amanda, it does sound as though your Red Ear Slider has a Respiratory infection. SEPARATE the two turtles immediately, raise the temperatures 10 degrees Fahrenheit and take him to the vet to get antibiotics and a proper diagnosis. This is not normal behavior and is a symptom. Talk to a vet to be sure its not something else, but it sounds like RI to me.

Good luck
