turtle makes funny noises!

i have had my turtle for a year now and for some reason he started making funny noises! bubbles have been coming out his mouth and some foam when hes making those noises...i have no idea whats wrong..can u help me!
p.s. im not sure if its a girl or boy!

This sounds like what is called Respiratory Infection, and it can be fatal.
