Gender of turtel

I have two small turtels that my mom bought from Daytona Beach,and I just wanted to know how do I tell if they are male or female?

Answer
There is no way to correctly identify the gender of young turtles.

If these are sliders of some sort, the males will develop long foreclaws when they hit sexual maturity- at about 4 years old.
