A tank that holds water 3 times deeper than he is long however they grow fast so me, i would get a 55 gallon
uvb light and case
heat emmitter
substrate like gravel
filter
chemicles to remove chloriene etc
any decorations you choose

even better contact a local rescue and have them help you. they might have it all there and even your new friend!!! adopt from them and they will help you and the cost is less and youre saving a life. let me know if you need more help
