i need help with my terrapin

how do i clean my terrapins shell???i really need to know because it is all dirty and it has some kind of stuff on its shell

Hi Shannon,

Just use a soft brush and warm water, nothing else.  Aquatic turtles will often grow some algae on their shell, and that may be what's on your terrapin's shell.  You can scrub it off, but it'll probably come back.  It's harmless, but fine to remove it (gently).
