Side-necked turtle issue

I have what was sold to me as an Asian Side-Necked turtle.  Last week I noticed that she had what appeared to be a hemorrhoid looking swollen type growth on the underside of her tail.  I can't seem to find any good information or pictures to compare it to online.  I'm trying to find out if she is in heat or if there is something else going on and what is the best thing for her.

Dorothy,  This definitely needs to be looked at by a reptile vet immediately. It could be too much protein in her diet she is having problems passing a stone or maybe has and it injured her. She could have rubbed against something. Many things but this one needs to be physically examined and probably given systemic antibiotic you can only get from your vet.
