Question
I like the idea of giving my gliders the HPW diet for their proten EVERYNIGHT.If you look online you can see what it is. does that mean i dont have to give them the other options they gave us for protein like the mealworms, yogurt, eggs ect? ORRR should I switch it up like every other night give them the HPW diet for protein. then the other nights give them meals worms ect? would that be ok? ALSO does the HPW diet also have calcium? if so, does this mean i dont need to give them a calcium supplament? if i still have to give them a calcium supp then what is the best one? (gliderboost, rep cal, glider comlete, ect?)

Answer
Jessica,

Here are the ingredients for the Wombaroo powder:

Whey protein, soy protein, ground cereals, maltodextrin, dextrose, lysine, methionine, vegetable oils, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3, E, K, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid, choline, inositol, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium.

You probably wouldn't have to offer other proteins, but they sure do love yogurt and meal worms!

I would have to do more research to figure out if these ingredients are in fact good for Sugar Gliders.  There seems to be a lot of "stuff" in there.  I would also have to compare it to the herptivite and calcium supplements I give mine in their BML.  I haven't used this diet, but I may try it.

I hope this helps.
