Question
QUESTION: I think my leopard gecko has gone blind, I asked someone else about it and to try a sterile saline solution for her eyes.  All I could find is saline for nose and I don't know if I should try it.

ANSWER: Hello Emily,

The sterile saline solution for the nose should be fine as long as there are no chemicals in it.
Do you have a picture of him for me?  Did he retain some shed over his eyes possibly that is affecting him?
Do you have a moist humid hide for him on the warm side to help with shedding?

QUESTION: She has shed more than once a month and the skin on the eyes has stayed on for a while afterwards, no i could not get a good photo of the eye.  The saline nasal spray I got has purifed water, sodium chloride, Disodium Phosphate, Phenylcarbinol, Monosodium Phosphate, Benzalkonium Chloride.  Is this an okay saline to use.  Yes I kept it moist by spraying moss while having a heating lamp on.

ANSWER: Hello Emily,

Ok, the saline solution looks to be fine to me.
If she retained her eye caps, the humidity must not have been high enough to help with shedding for her. The hide/cave needs moisture in there all of the time, too.  The best way to help release the moisture is to put an undertank heater on underneath of the hide/cave to help with humidity increase.  That way, the heat rises from underneath, to release humidity.
Can you put a water dish in there for her too?
How is she doing today?

QUESTION: She is doing okay and i will try the saline, there is a water dish in there and she has a heating rock in her tank hidden some underneath her hide will that do or should buy an undertank heater

Answer
Hello Emily,

Great, let me know how the saline solution does for her.  Any luck getting any of the retained shed off of her eyes at all?
Yes, do ahead & purchase an undertank heater.  The heat rock could be dangerous for her.  She could get burned on that pretty easily.  It is usually best to stick with overhead heating with a low wattage basking bulb & an undertank heater with paper towels in between her & the heater.  The bottom will get warm enough to help with heating.
