Question
Our new 8 week old holland dwarf likes to lay in his litter box. the breeder said probably because it was soft.  the problem was, that his urine and pellets mixed while he was laying in it and stuck to his underside.  can i put a blanket in his little house that we have in his cage hoping he will chose that over his litter box, or will he chew it up and cause health problems? if ok, what material would be best?
thanks

Answer
Hi Jim,
well it all depends. The best way to find out is...put the blanket in his little house and see what he does.If he lies on it like he does in his litter box then keep it in there. But if he starts to bite it then take it out because he could choke on it.
Hope this helps and good luck from Natasha.
