Question
our rabbits nails are very long and starting to curl . what is the proper way of trimming them w/o hurting him. We keep him in a cage at the moment ,but in the spring- late fall we put him in a hutch we built outside. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
                 thanks again,

Answer
Hi Alan,
well the best way to cut your rabbits nails is to get some paliers and just gently cut her/his nails. But dont cut them to far down. You will notice in each nail that there is red in their nail wich is known as blood so dont cut as far as that or it will hurt him/her.
You will need somone to help you with because you can hold your rabbit while another just gently takes a paw and gently cuts them.
Hope this helps and good luck from Natasha.
