Question
Hi,
I have a 9week old rex, She is a really good girl, I have her trained to urinate in a litter box, and for the most part behaiving guite well.  She has started to bite my little girl; who loves her to death, but now is a little afraid of baby (the rex). What information can you give me so that I can stop her from biting and make her a great house rabbit?  Oh I put her in an outside cage at night and to eat.

Answer
You might want to look at this article, http://www.wisconsinhrs.org/Articles/The%20Biting%20Rabbit.htm  You will need to find out what is causing her to bite.

Is it when you reach for her?  Is it when she is picked up?  Finding out exactly when she bites will give you clues as to what is making her bite.  She may not like to be picked up, or when she is being picked up it may not be the way she likes and she is letting you know.

This article also might be useful, http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/aggression.html

Remember that bunnies prefer to spend life with all 4 feet on the ground, being picked up scares them.  Also, if the rabbit is starting to develop hormones (generally at 4-6 months of age), behavior will change also and you will think the rabbit turned into his evil twin.

I hope this helps you out.
