We just purchased a mini dwarf...

We just purchased a mini dwarf for my sons 4 H so we are new to this. what is the best way to hold and clip the rabbits toe nails. And how much should my son handle her. She has been here for a week now and is getting pretty calm with him and me. And what about cats and the rabbit. Not a good idea?

hi ron- dont you try and cut the nails, its important for someone to each you as there is a vein in the claws that will bleed if you do it wrong.
let the son handle it as much as possible ,
cats and rabbits dont really get on but a fully grown rabbit will go for a cat if its near.
