Question
I bought my rabbit on Friday he is 7 weeks old this is my first rabbit.
I was wondering when do can i start litter training him? and how long should i keep him out of his cage for? at the moment he stay inside with me. how do i go about cliping his nails

Answer
Hello Marina

Simply put a low kitten/cat litter pan in the corner he uses most this will make cleaning the cage easier. Allow him at lest an hour out of his cage daily but more is better be sure that there's no wires where you let him out as he may chew on them. If hes only seven weeks old his claws do not need to be clipped but in the future if you wish to clip them simply get some cat nail clippers and cut each nails tip, if you cut too much off the nail will bleed as there is a vien running through each nail if this is cut it will hurt and the rabbit wont let you clip them again.
