Question
Hi, thank for your help last time, however, the male died, of mistreatment most likely. I have bought another rabbit but have seen another change in health, though not as drastic as before. When the new female excretes, its stool is sort of chunky and watery, and it clings to the rabbit's fur.
Also, my first female is having a little probem with using the bathroom in the cage. it uses the restroom more out of the cage than in the cage, even though I take the rabbits out for about 2 hours a day. Today, for example, I let them on my bed for about 10 minutes to clean the cage, but by the tim eI had finished, she had excreted around 15 times everywhere and had pee'd also.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!!!

Answer
Kevin,

I am sorry about your male rabbit. It sounds like he was in pretty bad shape before you got him. Congratulations on the new rabbit, though!
It is not unusual that a rabbit would pee, or especially leave droppings, around when it is out of its cage. Chunky and watery stool, however, is not common. I do not really know why it would be this way--I know of lots of causes of diarrhea, but chunky and watery does not sound like the same thing. You could start by giving her hay (timothy hay or grass hay are good) or straw, as the fiber might help improve whatever tummy problems she might have. Keep cleaning her and her cage as necessary. Try looking up pet rabbit sites, such as      www.rabbit.org    or try asking another "expert" on the AllExperts rabbit site.
Sometimes rabbits stool gets pasty or different than the regular pellets for a while, and just giving them hay for several days might help, but sometimes it is more serious. It is good for the rabbits that you may so much attention to their health. I am sorry I am not of more help this time.

I hope your rabbit gets better soon.
God Bless
