Caring properly for my bunnies

Question
I have 5 bunnies and I live in Florida which is extremely hot and humid in the summer. My boyfreind makes me house the rabbits outside and I just can't stand to see them locked up in those cages in this kind of heat. He dosen't like the bunnies in the house but I usually bring one or two of them into the air conditioning to hop around the house while he is at work. Since I have two very aggressive males (they are fixed but I have 2 females who are not). I have to be careful who I let come in the house together. What I finally decided to do was let 3 of them run free in the yard for a few days and keep a cage open for them with food and fresh water. I have noticed that they stay in the yard and we live in a pretty safe place. Is this okay for me to do? I just want my bunnies to be healthy and happy. Do you know of other people who let their bunnies free like that?

Answer
Hi Michaela,
I know lots of people that let their bunnies loose in the garden, as long as there is no predators that could harm or even kill your bunnies they will be fine. I would not advise you to leave them out over night though. If it is hot leave an iced bottle of water in the garden they might snuggle up to it to keep cool, this was very uselful with mine.
Hope this helps
Katie
