is my rabbit in heat??

Question
my cousin bought her daughter a bunny for easter this year. i'm not quite sure what the sex is, but i believe that its a male. he is very loving, affectionate, and demands attention from me. i did notice that whenever i spend time with him, he sometimes makes a loud grunt. i've read about that online, and it said that it means that they are annoyed and he might bite...which he hasn't. he is also circling my feet a lot and is making very faint grunting sounds as he's doing this...does this mean that he's in heat? what are the signs that i need to look out for to really know?

Answer
Hi Maria,
Bunnys normally nip in an afectionate way to show they love you this is followed by circling and a faint grunting sound, But lucky for you he misses out the affectionate nip which can hurt! There's nothing wrong with him, this is normal bunny behaviour
Hope this helps
