My new pet rabbit

What kind of food should i give my pet rabbit and can i give him a bath (it is all white with red eyes and gray ears)

Answer
It would be wise to feed your rabbit only prepared rabbit food. It should cost you about $5 for 25 pounds (at a livestock feed store.) DO NOT pay the outrageous $1 per pound like they charge at Wal Mart! Any other foods tend to give them diarrhea. Also, limit it to 4-5 ounces a day.

As for washing the rabbit, there should be no need to ever do that. If it gets a little dirty, just let it dry and them comb it out..I have never washed one, in 30 years of raising many rabbits. they usually keep themselves pretty clean.  best wishes, Steve
