Question
Hello,
I have three male rabbits, all different in ages and breeds. They all live in separate cages, but I feel dissapointed because they dont get along. I recently introduced my youngest to my oldest, but they eventually started ripping eachothers fur out. I was wondering if you would be able to tell me if my rabbits will ever get over this and get along if they see eachother more often? Also, if my oldest rabbit has never really encountered a doe before, do you think that he might just have the urges to mount another male?
Your help would be greatly appreciated..Thank you.
Samantha

Answer
Rabbits can bond, but it works better if all the parties involved are neutered, and if you do the introductions in neutral space.  There is info on how to do this at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/introductions.html

Right now, if they are all intact, they are going to mount anything that comes their way.  I have seen male rabbits mount each other, cats, dogs, stuffed animals, humans, whatever is available.

If you can get them neutered and then introduce them in a neutral space you might be able to get them bonded.  I've had male pairs before, so I know it can work.
