QuestionI have a white dwarf rabbit and 9 chickens of various breeds and
I was wondering if it would be a problem for them to live in the
same pen. Could either of them pose a threat to the other or
could they pass any parasites/diseases to each other?
AnswerI once housed a rabbit with some chicks without any problems. They can possibly pass a parasite called coccidiosis to one another (this can be deadly). I would recommend treating for this parasite on a regular basis. You would also have to make sure that the rabbit is unable to dig out of the enclosure. Also - a rooster might pose a threat as well.
