QuestionWe just brought our bunny home from the pet store. It is a lop. Very young/probably 3 months old. One ear stands straight up in the middle of it's head and never goes down unless I push it down. The other ear never stands up it always lays droopy. What is this, is one of the ears broken and is there a cure. Which one is the problem ear?
AnswerLops are not born that way - they are born with upright ears that fall sometime in the first few months. Usually one ear falls, then the other.
So I would give it some time, that ear that is upright is just not ready to fall yet, but will soon.
