Thinking of getting a rabbit

Hi!  We are thinking of getting a pet rabbit to live in our back garden!  What do we need to get started? Can they live outdoors all year round (in ireland)?  Also, do they attract fleas & rats? Thanks!

I don't know about the weather in Ireland, but as long as the temperature doesn't exceed 80 degrees F, the rabbit could live outside without issues.

Rabbits can get fleas, they generally don't attract rats unless you already have rats, in which case you would need to keep the food in containers the rats can't get to.
