Should I adopt another bunny?

Question
Hi all,
My boyfriend and I recently moved into a much larger condo.  We have two bonded netherland dwarves that are both about 2 years old.
We love them.  Do you think there would be a major problem (btw the rabbits) if we adopted another rabbit?
We now have the space, and we have an large spare cage that is currently empty (from when we moved the first two buns into a bigger cage together.)
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Answer
It is going to depend on the rabbits.  Do you have 2 females, or 2 males, or one of each?  If you have 2 females and try to introduce a male, or vice versa, that can possibly work.  If you have one of each, introducing a third rabbit could be challenging.

There's the possibility that you may need to keep the third rabbit about from the other 2.

Check out the FAQ on bonding rabbits at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/introductions.html

If you are near a rescue group, you might check to see if they could assist you, that way if it doesn't work out you don't have a bunny that doesn't get along with the other 2.
