Question
My rabbit is 6 months old, and I have had him for 4 months. He is currently in a hutch in the garage, but I am thinking of bringing him indoors in an indoor cage.  Do you think this is a bad idea?

Answer
Dear Dani,

No, it's the BEST idea.  Keeping him in the garage is lonely and boring, and not safe for him.  He's a sentient, intelligent being, and does not enjoy living alone in the garage any more than you would.

You can learn more about how to live with an indoor bunny (litterbox training, proper diet, cage size, etc.,) here:

and the best site of all:

Note that once your bunny is spayed/neutered and litterbox trained, you might not even need a cage.  All our bunnies run free in the house, sometimes cuddle up with us by the TV or in bed, and are true members of the family.  I highly recommend that you bring your bunny inside and start making him a member of the family.  It's what he's meant to be!  :)

Hope that helps.  Please write back if you have any other questions.
