talking rabbit

hi we had our rabbit indoors today and he had a great time running around . we went to pick him up and he started making funny noises and carried on running around making these noises just like he was talking. What is this funny noise?

Well, he probably *was* talking to you.  First, are you sure he's a he?  Female rabbits sometimes have false pregnancies and will whimper if picked up.  If this is the case, she needs to be spayed for her health and longevity:

Rabbits do much better indoors than out.  As you can see, they enjoy interacting with people as much as a dog or cat.  They're easily litterbox trained, and make wonderul indoor companions.  Please see:
