diarrhea in rabbits

Hello,

my mother have several rabits and some of them had a desiese and they died after it...
they had diarrhea for 2-3 days then the die..

so what do u think is the problem?
how could we help (cure) them ? if there's some kind of medecine?
does this kind of desises goes from one rabbit to another? and could it affect CATS as well?

Answer
It depends on how old they are and what caused it.  Baby bunnies taken from their mothers too early will get this, and usually die.

I can't think of a reason this would be transmittable to cats.
