food and a problem

Question
I live in Egypt and I saved two rabbits from the meat market.
There is no commercial rabbit food here, so I'm feeding them on fresh fruit and veg ( spinach, celery, apples, carrots, coriander, melon, green pepper, cabbage ), brown bread and All Bran. Is there anything else I should be giving them?
Also, one of the rabbits is chewing the other one's fur. The skin isn't being broken but she's looking a bit bald.
I'd be grateful for any advice/suggections you can give me.
Many thanks,
Lin

Answer
You might check out the list at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/diet.html  I realize some of the foods you may not have access to, but a rabbit can live perfectly well on hay and vegetables (if you can't get hay, then I guess vegetables would work).

Rabbits sometimes chew like that, it is called barbering.  It generally means they are bored.  If you could provide any toys, http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/toys.html you might be able to get this behavior to stop.

I am sure the rabbits are glad you rescued them!
