Question
I have a hollandlop one yrs of age and she is a
real good house pet but every once an a while
I will find a big handfull of her hair in the cage. Is this normal? I let her out to play each day and she goes in a litter box and also I find
her not always going into it.  Dont know what to do!         Thankyou Paula

Answer
Rabbits shed about 4 times a year, so every once in a while some fur in the cage will be normal.

Have you checked into tips on litterbox training?  You can find some at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/litter.html  She may be marking territory, or may just not know that she has to use the box.  Rabbits are not like cats, and do not immediately go to the litterbox when necessary, they have to be taught to do so.  Some rabbits learn very well, and some are kind of slow in picking it up.
