Question
Hi dana,
ive booked her in to the vet in a few days, unfortionally i dont think it will be her teeth as she has  been doing it for about 2years now, i thought it would stop after i got her spayed but it hasnt, its not just grooming and her furr falling away its actually pulling it out and making herself bleed, which is what worries me, and other thoughts?

Answer
Dear Monique,

I don't recall if I sent you this link before, but try this:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/furloss.html

But really, if the area is restricted to her chest and chin area, it's very likely to be caused by drooling, even if she's been at it for 2 years.  It's high time for her to have a molar exam from a good rabbit vet:

Hope that helps!

Dana
