Question
my rabbit is pulling out and eating clumps of fur one by one , Why would this be?

Answer
Dear Shelby,

Are you sure she is *eating* the fur, or just mouthing it.  It's possible that she's having a false pregnancy, and pulling fur to line her nest.  If this is the case, it's time for her to be spayed.  You can read more here:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/spay.html

If she has ever been with a male (in the last month or so), then she could really be pregnant, and you will have to make appropriate preparations, as described here:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/surpriselitter.html

Please find a good rabbit vet here, in case of emergency:

www.rabbit.org/vets

You will need to have her spayed at some point, and it's good to find a good rabbit vet before you need one.

Hope this helps.
