QuestionHi, I hope that this is the last question that I will have to ask you. HaHa... My rabbit she had one baby, but it died. All night she was having contractions, I guess. Because she had 3 more babies. They were also dead. I was wondering, maybe if it would be okay if she had one more litter, since this one is her first one. She is 5 or 6 years old, is it possible that she might be too old? Thank You once again :-)
AnswerShe could continue to get pregnant for a few more years, but, given that she is already on the upper end of middle age I would not do it again. Generally 3-4 years of age is when breeder females are retired.
It would be kind of like a 50 year old woman having a baby, it isn't really a good idea.
