illness

Question
We have a one year old rabbit.  He is normally very active and does not like being in his hutch.  Today he has not come out of his hutch and when I went to him tonight, he is making whimpering noises, does not resist me picking him up (which he normally does)and is not listless.

Answer
He is either very scared, or in a lot of pain.  If bringing him in doesn't stop the noises he is making, you should get him to a rabbit-knowledgeable vet immediately to find out why he is in pain.
