Question
My male rabbit (flemish giant but he kindda small) behaving like he was having fits(seizure). He slam himself at the cage and the way he moves is like he's paralysing himself, can't lift himself up(like his legs can't stand). And he just sits in the corner. This behaviour act continuesly. And after 30 mins he's back with his normal self. If this is kind of stress, I did let him out everyday and he has a companion that is a female. He eats and drinks well. Could you tell me why he's behaving like that kind of manner.

Answer
Dear Ira,

This type of symptom really requires complete examination and diagnosis by a good vet.  If the bunny cannot use his rear legs, please read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/paresis.html

but still get him to a good rabbit vet, and take his mate along for the ride:

www.rabbit.org/vets

If this is a neurological problem, such as epilepsy, the vet is needed to prescribe proper treatment.

I hope this helps.
