Question
I'll try to be brief..
Um.. My baby rabbit mysteriously died.. and Uh..  er.. nvm that.. xP
um.. one of my current buns lost a significant amount of weight.. that her spine actually shows.. kinda looks humped... and uh.. we havent fed her any differently... I make sure that she drinks and eats.. but Im not sure... she seems a bit less active.. so Im guessing that perhaps shes come down with something.. we upped her food intake a bit.. doesnt seem to be helping much.. and we're unable to take her to a vet for various reasons.. but other than that.. Ive noticed that my dads been large handfuls of food into her dish... each time he passes by.. I tried to explain that she needs a variety of goods such as veggies and hay.. and that pellets could kill her.. but he doesnt believe me.. and this is all out of my control.. I dont know what to do ;__;
other than that my other buns been eating newspaper.. .. is that safe? o_O

Answer
If I understand this correctly, this bunny keeps losing weight no matter what you feed her.  If she is eating large quantities of pellets she should be gaining weight.

She could have some sort of parasite, such as a worm, or coccidia, or some obstruction in her digestive tract.  The only sure way to diagnose this is to find a rabbit-knowledgeable vet.

Eating newspaper isn't a problem, they generally shred it and not eat it.
