Question
My rabbit has started pulling  lumps  out of herself under the chin with her teeth. She has opened a wound and can see nothing to have caused her irritation. She is eating and otherwise healthy. She lives with 3 sisters who have been together for 3 years,Their hutch and run is kept very clean .She has done this before and I have healed it with vatious creams and powders from the pet shop with sucsess but I want to stop her doing it in the first place.
Thanks for any advice.

Answer
Dear Karen,

The precise location of the irritation is a dead giveaway:  your bunny very likely has painful molar spurs (or other dental problem not visible without a deep oral exam) that's making her drool onto her chin and dewlap.  The saliva is caustic, burns the skin, making her chew at it, and the cycle won't stop until the teeth are handled.

I hope this helps.
