Question
hi, i have a male dwarf rabbit that is 2-3 months old. i was reading that rabbits like to burrow. how important is this for them? what can i give him to burrow in without taking up all the space in his cage?

thank you, ray lopez

Answer
Having things for your rabbit to do is very important to keep them from getting bored. However, imitating burrowing is very easy to do. A paper bag or a pile of hay works great for giving the rabbit something to "burrow" into. You can even combine the two (hay inside the paper bag). Most rabbits have a blast with these things, and they are simple and cheap.
