is my rabbit still pregnant

hi there my rabbit gave birth 2 days ago to 5 babies are all doing fine but mum is very quiet and very fat still. Mum made a nest in a rabbit fluffy bed and that is were the babies are. I have heard that she can stil have another litter inside her is that true ? this morning when i got up mum had moved the fluffy bed with the nest in slightly and put the babies at the side of the fluffy bed with fur all over them. i moved them back into the fluffy bed and mum went straight to them and fed them did i do the right thing ? She has also brushed up all the hay, sawdust, and newspaper and put that in the fluffy bed do you think she may still be pregnant ? how can i tell ? how long apart do rabbits have there litters if they have 2 inside them ?

More than likely she doesn't have another litter inside. If so she would have them with in a day or so of the other litter. You should not move them unless they are in danger of getting too cold or falling out of the nest. She is just making a bigger nest with the sawdust and stuff. THis is normal. You can always feel her abdomen to see if you feel anymore babies. At this stage they should be fully formed and her abdomen still hard.
