Question
I have just got a 8week old holland lop bunny and was wondering how big will he get. He is black with white markings. Also how often do you give fresh vegetables. Will it be too cold outside for him in winter with him only being a baby, thanks

Answer
Holland lops have a maximum show weight of 4 pounds, but pet quality ones sometimes reach around 5 pounds.

Right now don't give vegetables. When he is about 3 months old, you can start slowly introducing vegetables. Start with one type in small amounts, and work up to a larger amount. Once he is fully used to that type, you can start giving small amounts of another type, etc.

If at all possible, it is usually best to keep rabbits indoors. As far as it being too cold, it really depends on where you live. If you live where it gets snow, you will want to bring him inside on really cold nights. You will also want to give him a box filled with hay for him to snuggle into to keep warm.
