Question
I attempt to breed Holland Lops.  The does never want to lift to accept the buck.  Therefore, it is not very often I get a litter of rabbits.  I was told that if I put 1/4 cup of vinegar in their water it will make them more hormonal and ready to breed.  Is this true?

Thanks,
Casondra

Answer
Casondra - I use the apple cider vinegar in my rabbits water at all times. 6ml / liter of water.

When I have a doe who does not want to mate I give her 1 teaspoon of wheat germ in her food for 17 days, it always works for me.  ( if a doe is to fat she will not want to mate - reduce her food also for the 17 days )
