QuestionMy rabbit keeps pulling out his fur, not to the point where hes bleeding, but where its like hes trying to make a nest. But he is a male, why would he be doing this?
Also, i feed my rabbit a mix of foods (pellets, hay, fresh veggies) and whatever he has in his bowl, he'll tip it over and refuse to eat. He won't eat pellets at all. I have to buy a mixed bag for him, but even then he'll eat small amounts of whats in the bowl, pick it up and tip it over. How can i get him to stop this?
AnswerDear Amy,
Please see:

But also consider the possibility that your bunny was incorrectly sexed. If the bunny is actually a female, she could be having a false pregnancy.
Might not be a bad idea to get him/her to the vet for a good checkup to be sure all is well:

The picky eating could very likely be due to dental problems that a good vet also can check:

Hope this helps.
