QuestionI purchaseed a 1 month old mini-rex black broken otter. Being told many different things to do with it but not sure what is the best advice. We give her pellets for food. Was told to let her eat what she wants. Then I read on computer, they can eat too much. I use cell-sorb plus for her bedding. I tried her on a big water bottle and she didnt seem to do very well with it. Then I got a small one and she appeared to be able to suck out of it, but not for sure cause it drops water now and then and not for sure if she is getting enough water or not. So I put water in a small bowl for her. How often to feed her,and can she get too much? Timonthy hay, can she get too much of that? Her stool has been regular until this morning and there was a tiny bit on top of her toy that was a little loose, not much. What could cause that? Any information you could give would be greatly appreciated. We plan to go to the library later but personal advice I think would be of more help. Thanks . Looking forward to hearing from you. Oh, I forgot to mention we are trying to potty train her. We have her litter in a corner container and wonder if you have any advice on that issue as well. Again thanks
Answerhi crystal-a rabbit needs only one cupfull of food a day and no fruit and very little greens mine also have a water trough to drink out- hay is good for them and they will only eat what they want.
i know nothing about potty training sorry- mine all live in a large shed.
