Mini lop baby!

We bought an 8-9 week old minilop bunny 5 days ago at the moment he is a house rabbit! He was very energetic and inquisitive to begin with, however, tonight he seems more subdued and is sleeping more, is this purely down to settling in? His food is the same type as he had at the breeder though it is a different brand and sometimes he is a little 'loose', is this to be expected? Are salt licks a good idea? How old do you recommend we have him neutered and vaccinated? Thankyou.

Hi Heather.
 I would suggest having him neutered around 4 months of age.  The loose stools is quite normal especially after changing the brand of food, as long as he is eating theres no need to worry.
 Also, being quiet and sleeping for the first few days are very normal as he's not used to his new environment.
