Mating Giant Rabbits

Question
I recently attempted to mate my a pair of beautifully giants.
This is the first time for the doe and when the buck is mounting the seven month old doe, she lays flat on the floor. It's been three weeks since the last attempt and there is no signs of pregnancy.
What is the problem and what is the solution.

Thank you

Answer
Hi John,
It is difficult to determine whether a rabbit is pregnant. The first sign is usually when the doe will pull out fur from her belly to line a nest for her kits.  They do this around the 32nd day after mating.  Wait till then and if you see her making her nest with fur,the kits will be born within 12 hours.
good luck,Elizabeth
